Troubleshooting
- Go to appleid.apple.com on a modern device.
- Sign in and navigate to Security > Generate Password.
- Name it "iOS 9.3.5 App Store."
- Enter that 16-character password (without spaces) on your iOS 9 device instead of your real Apple ID password.
