- Native macOS app: If Computax provides a macOS-native installer, choose this for best performance and integration (Touch ID, file system, Retina scaling).
- Virtual machine (recommended when no macOS build): Use virtualization software (Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion, or UTM) to run Windows and install Computax there.
- Dual-boot with Boot Camp (Intel Macs only): Install Windows via Boot Camp for native performance. Not available on Apple Silicon (M1/M2) Macs.
- Wine/Crossover: Try Wine or Crossover for running Windows executables without a full Windows installation — may work for some versions but can be hit-or-miss for complex accounting apps.
