  1. Set the dial to OFF and remove test leads.
  2. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw on the battery cover (lower back of unit).
  3. Remove the old 9V battery. Snap the new 9V battery onto the connector.
  4. Replace the cover and screw.
