Update 1.2.0 for Fire Emblem: Three Houses was released on February 13, 2020, primarily to add support for the Cindered Shadows
Impact on players
- Extract your own base game NSP using nxdumptool.
- Download the official 1.2.0 update from Nintendo servers via a Switch dumping tool (or find the update NSP from your own copy’s update data).
- Merge/install using a USB installer like NS-USBloader or DBI.
- Install DLC (Wave 4 “Cindered Shadows”) if you have the Expansion Pass.
- Launch game — title screen should show “Ver. 1.2.0” in the corner.

Unit Costumes: You can now change your students' outfits for battle directly from your desk in the personal quarters, allowing for much greater visual customization.

Nintendo has addressed numerous technical issues to smooth out the gameplay experience:

Dumping the Update: If you have internet access on your sysNAND, your Switch will download the update automatically. If you are operating in an offline emuNAND environment, you will need to dump the update file from your own updated Switch console.
