- Extraction: Extract the downloaded firmware zip file. Inside, you should find a "Scatter File" (often named
MT6765_Android_scatter.txtor similar). This file tells the flashing tool where to write the data. - Tool Setup: Launch the SP Flash Tool as an Administrator. Click on the "Download" or "Firmware Upgrade" tab. It is generally safer to use "Firmware Upgrade" if you are updating, as it retains user data (though a backup is still recommended). Use "Download" only if you are unbricking the device.
- Loading the Scatter File: Click the "Choose" button next to "Scatter-loading file" and select the scatter file from the extracted firmware folder. The tool will populate a list of files to be flashed.
- Connecting the Device: Power off the Tecno Spark 30C completely (do not charge). Click the "Download" button in the tool. Now, connect the phone to the PC via USB.
- The Handshake: If drivers are installed correctly, the tool should detect the phone. You may need to press specific key combinations (usually Volume Up or Down) to trigger the download mode, though many MTK devices auto-detect.
- Completion: The tool will display progress bars. Wait until a green circle or checkmark appears, indicating "Download OK." Do not touch the phone or cable during this time.

- Use “Format All + Download” for fixing a corrupted partition table or upgrading Android version. Warning: This erases the IMEI (you can rewrite it with a tool like SN Writer later).
Step 7: Completion
- Once the progress bar reaches 100% and shows "Download Complete" (green PASS), disconnect the USB cable.
- First boot may take 5–10 minutes. Do not interrupt it.
