Mechanism

Step 3: Trigger

Place a pressure plate directly on top of that false block. Run redstone from the plate down and back to the piston. Because the plate powers the block it's on, the piston will extend when stepped on — wait, that’s wrong.
Correction: In Lovely Craft (modded), you need an inverter or a pulse limiter. Place a redstone torch under the piston’s power source, then connect the plate to the torch’s block.
