Level 5 – Non-/24 masks

• Mask may be /30 (255.255.255.252) – only 2 usable IPs (point-to-point link).
• Mask must be consistent on both ends of a link.

• Interface 1: 192.168.1.254/24
• Interface 2: 10.0.0.254/24

Level 10 – Internet simulation

• One device has a public IP, rest private.
• Use default route toward ISP.
• Ensure NAT is not needed (NetPractice assumes direct routing if IPs allow).
