How to Update Firmware via Software:

1. Download the latest firmware file (.hex or .bin) from the NOS support site.
2. Connect the PC to the M700 via a direct serial cable (avoid USB hubs during updates).
3. In the M700 software, navigate to Tools > Firmware Update.
4. Select the firmware file. The software will verify the checksum.
5. Click "Start Flash." Do not interrupt this process. A power failure during flashing can brick the amplifier.
