Novastar MTP (Multi-Transport Protocol) refers to Novastar’s USB-based communication method used to connect LED display controllers or receiving cards to a PC for configuration, firmware updates, and content management. The MTP driver enables Windows (and sometimes other OSes) to recognize Novastar hardware over USB and present it to Novastar tools (e.g., NovaLCT, NovaStar Pro, or firmware upgrade utilities).
