Method:
- Turn off the VDmax 3.0 machine.
- Connect the USB cable from the controller to your PC.
- Open Device Manager on Windows.
- Look for "VDmax 3.0 Controller" under Universal Serial Bus devices.
- Right-click → Properties → Details tab.
- In the Property drop-down, select "Hardware Ids".
- You will see a string like:
USB\VID_0483&PID_5750\VD3M_1547_0823 - The last part (
VD3M_1547_0823) is your serial number. Note that the month and year are reversed compared to the sticker format.
