Phison Ps225107ps2307 Upd (2024)
The Phison PS2251-07 (PS2307) controller is a high-speed USB 3.0 microcontroller developed by Phison Electronics. It handles communication between the host computer and NAND flash memory.
(and its predecessor, the PS2251-03) gained notoriety due to a fatal flaw in the way its firmware is handled, heavily publicized after the BadUSB research at Black Hat 2014. phison ps225107ps2307 upd
Step 4: Configure Settings
- Click "Setting" (password is often empty or
320). - Go to "Firmware" tab:
- Fix compatibility issues – e.g., the drive not being detected on certain USB 3.0 hosts.
- Recover bricked drives – after a failed format, unsafe removal, or corrupted firmware.
- Mass production (low-level format) – to restore original capacity, erase bad blocks, or change NAND timing parameters.
- Supports up to 256GB of storage capacity
- USB 3.0 interface
- High-speed data transfer rates of up to 200MB/s
