Step 2: Install the Kernel (Flash the Console)
- Ensure your PlayStation Classic is turned off.
- Insert the prepared USB drive into port 1 (the left front port).
- Connect the power cable. The console will automatically boot into Project Eris’s installer.
- The LED will flash orange/blue. Once finished (about 90 seconds), the console will reboot.
- You have now flashed the custom kernel. Stock games remain, but the system is unlocked.
Step 4: Boot It Up
- Plug the USB drive into the left port of the PlayStation Classic.
- Connect the power cable.
- Connect your controller.
- Turn the console on.
