Known issues

• A small percentage of players may still see an NPC stall when exiting the Lighthouse if they exit too quickly after the scene transition.
• On lower-end hardware, some long-range shadows may flicker; a temporary shadow LOD toggle is available in Settings.
• Achievement "Ledger Keeper" may not register immediately; relaunching the game usually resolves this.

Regret Island - A Haunting and Mysterious Adventure

Sound and music are collaborators here, not mere background. Ambient scores weave into environmental FX, making every creak of a floorboard a question mark. Melodies arrive at unexpected moments—an accordion drifting across a salt flat, a single piano line in a ruined chapel—and they change the emotional temperature of a scene. Silence, too, is used with mastery: a pause that elongates a decision, a hush that makes the next line of dialog land like a pebble dropped into a still pond.

Developed in RPG Maker MV, Regret Island focuses on player choice and resource management.

2. PLOT SYNOPSIS

The story follows the protagonist (default name: Elias/Victoria), a disgraced corporate accountant who accepts a mysterious invitation to a private island resort to escape mounting legal troubles. However, the private charter flight crashes just off the coast of an uncharted landmass.
