ECU Internal Failure: The driver inside the ECU that reads the 5-volt signal burns out (common on Renault Sagem 2000 ECUs).

Bad Ground: A corroded ground connection can skew the sensor reading.

Mechanical Failure: Though DF1070 is electrical, a physical blockage in the rail could cause erratic readings that the ECU interprets as a sensor fault (less likely, but possible).

Analysis: If the pressure reads >1.0 Bar with the pedal at rest, the pressure sensor or ABS pump is at fault.
