8. Comparison to Competitors

• vs. Arturia Jup-8 V: Arturia’s Jupiter-8 emulation is excellent and offers more modulation options, but the SYSTEM-8 feels more "alive" in the oscillator section. The SYSTEM-8’s filter bite feels closer to the real hardware.
• vs. TAL-Uno LX: TAL is much cheaper and lighter on CPU. It is arguably the best value for Juno sounds. However, the SYSTEM-8 is a complete system—it does the Juno sound and the aggressive modern System sound, which TAL cannot do.
