Sp Flash Tool 6765 Info

The SP Flash Tool is a Windows and Linux application used to flash stock firmware, custom ROMs, and recovery images on MediaTek (MTK) chipset devices, including those with the (Helio P35/G35) processor. Prerequisites

A Typical MT6765 Rescue Workflow

  1. Install MTK USB VCOM drivers and disable driver signature verification (on Windows).
  2. Launch SP Flash Tool and load the correct scatter file from the stock firmware package.
  3. Select “Download Only” or “Firmware Upgrade.”
  4. Power off the MT6765 device completely.
  5. Click Download in SP Flash Tool, then connect the USB cable.
  6. The tool will detect the preloader and begin flashing.

2.4 Acquire the Correct Stock ROM (Firmware)

Your MT6765 ROM must match:

  • Download Only: Flashes all selected partitions (standard ROM upgrade).
  • Format All + Download: Erases everything including NVRAM – USE ONLY if you have a full backup (this wipes IMEI numbers).
  • Firmware Upgrade: Best for MT6765 – updates partitions without corrupting user data.

Step 5: Finalize

  • preloader_xxxx.bin (signed for the device)
  • scatter.txt (partition table)
  • boot.img, system.img, vendor.img
  • md1img.img (modem firmware – critical for IMEI)

Step 2: Launch SP Flash Tool

  1. Extract the SP Flash Tool zip file.
  2. Navigate to the folder and run flash_tool.exe as Administrator (Right-click -> Run as Administrator).
  3. If you see a "Da Cc" error or similar immediately, it means the tool is corrupted or incompatible; try a different version (recommended: SP Flash Tool v5.1916 or newer).
  1. Once the flashing process is complete, disconnect your device from the computer.
  2. Power on your device and perform a factory reset (if necessary).
