If you just bought a generic "Twin USB Joystick" (often a dual-shock style controller with a USB converter) and are struggling to get it working on Windows 10 or 11, you aren't alone. The default Windows drivers often don't recognize the vibration functions, or the controller ends up listed as "Unknown Device."
- Disable Driver Signature Enforcement (Temporarily) : Many twin USB joystick drivers are unsigned. Windows 10 64-bit blocks unsigned drivers by default. You must reboot into "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" mode.

2) Connect devices
- Plug the first joystick into USB. Wait 20–30 seconds for Windows to attempt automatic driver installation.
- Repeat with the second joystick in a different USB port.
