How to Enter Recovery Mode:

1. Disconnect power (remove the ACC fuse or disconnect the car battery negative terminal for 30 seconds). Reconnect.
2. Immediately upon seeing the Wise Tiger logo, repeatedly tap the top-left and top-right corners of the screen alternately (some units use a physical RESET button – use a paperclip).
3. Alternatively, press and hold the power button + the "Mode" button (if available) during boot.
4. Once in recovery mode (Android system recovery), use the physical volume knob or steering wheel volume buttons to navigate.
5. Select "Wipe data/factory reset" and confirm.
6. After wiping, select "Apply update from ADB" or "Apply update from USB" (using the USB method described above).

Step 5: Verify and Reset

1. Disconnect the USB cable from the radio.
2. Power cycle the radio (turn off, then on).
3. Re-check the firmware version (Menu → Settings → Firmware Version). It should now display the new version number.
