Guide: Installing WUD (What's Up Docker)

What is WUD? WUD (What's Up Docker) is a lightweight application that monitors your running Docker containers and alerts you when a new version is available on the Docker Hub. It helps you keep your self-hosted infrastructure up to date.

  1. Press Win + R, type sysdm.cpl, and hit Enter.
  2. Go to the Advanced tab → Environment Variables.
  3. Under System variables, select PathEdit.
  4. Click New and paste the full path to the folder containing wudcompress.exe (e.g., C:\tools\wudcompress).
  5. Click OK on all windows.
