Softpaw Magazine Issue 1 2 3 4 47 Hot [top] Here

Softpaw Magazine was a niche publication within the furry fandom that operated between 2006 and 2010. Founded and edited by Jery and Kiffin Softpaw, it was notable as the first magazine to focus specifically on "cub-related" content—adult-oriented art and stories featuring young-looking anthropomorphic characters. Publication History and Issues

  • Issues 1–4: Quiet radicalism — emphasis on small gestures, personal narrative, slow craft, and close-up photography. Layouts favored negative space and muted palettes; contributors explored tenderness, invulnerability, and domestic rebellions.
  • Issue 47: Transformed tone — denser visuals, saturated color, typographic daring. The editorial stance shifts from inward-facing tenderness to outward-facing agitation: climate anxieties, queer kinship networks, and digital intimacy.

The magazine was famously barred from sale at major furry conventions, including Eurofurence and Further Confusion, due to its subject matter. Legal Status: softpaw magazine issue 1 2 3 4 47 hot

But then… there’s Issue #47.
